One year ago, Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton devastated areas of the Southeast. Since then, over 330 IOCC volunteers have cleaned out and repaired 79 homes.

Today, August 12, is International Youth Day with its global message of "Empowering Youth, Building Tomorrow".

IOCC is monitoring the situation and coordinating with local authorities and response organizations. In addition, IOCC staff are in contact with Orthodox parishes in the region to gather information and offer support.

A joint IOCC-BLDA program aims to help hundreds of children in Gaza, like Samara, by providing educational resources and extracurricular activities.
